Built by XR&D in 2020 and professionally fitted out by Sol Seeker in 2022, Edwards Den is a beautifully presented boat, fully prepared for cruising. Currently used as a liveaboard within a marina, she is equally well equipped for continuous cruising, offering both comfort and practicality throughout.
Galley
An open, bright and welcoming space, beautifully presented and finished to a high standard. Designed with both practicality and style in mind, the galley offers an impressive amount of worktop and storage space, exceeding that found in many modern homes.
To port, a large ceramic sink is set within resin/Corian worktops, complemented by a half-height wall unit above. Beneath are the integrated 240v washing machine, 240v dishwasher and additional cupboards. A tall slimline storage unit completes this section.
Towards the port/stern side, the L-shaped layout incorporates an integrated 240v fridge freezer, LPG oven and grill, with a 240v microwave above and a 240v wine fridge. Positioned between the fridge and oven is the electrical cupboard housing the main fuse boards, while further drawers and cupboards provide additional storage.
The central island features multiple drawers and cupboards, centred around a five ring hob that forms the focal point of the space. Above, a large electronically controlled Velux skylight fills the area with natural light and provides additional ventilation when required.
At the end of the island, a solid wood dining table comfortably accommodates four people. The flooring throughout is finished in engineered oak planks.
Saloon
Moving forward, the saloon continues the spacious full width design of the boat, creating a comfortable living area enhanced by natural light from a second Velux skylight.
To port is a run of floor units with wall mounted shelving above, along with a practical workstation. Additional shelving and a wall mounted TV are positioned on the bulkhead.
The remainder of the room is arranged around two freestanding sofas (not included), providing comfortable seating for up to four people. Flooring in the saloon and forward accommodation is carpeted, with the exception of the bathroom.
Single Bedroom
Located around midships, the single bedroom is a well proportioned and comfortable space. It is currently arranged with a single bed (not included), freestanding wardrobe, chest of drawers, and oak TV stand with TV.
Bathroom
Positioned forward of the single bedroom, the bathroom is bright, practical and easy to maintain. It features a large rectangular shower tray with glass screen and sliding door, Thetford cassette toilet (with spare cassette), and a square hand basin mounted on a two-drawer vanity unit. The boat was originally fitted with a Cinderella incinerator toilet, all of the fittings remain onboard, the unit is stored elsewhere but is available with the purchase.
The floor is tiled, while the walls are finished in easy-clean surfaces throughout.
Main Bedroom
Situated at the bow, the main bedroom is a spacious and inviting with excellent natural light. A freestanding king-size bed (not included) sits centrally within the room, flanked by built in bedside tables and wall-mounted storage units above.
Additional low level shelving runs along both sides, and a newly installed built in double wardrobe with four drawers provides ample storage.
Exterior
The aft deck is enclosed with a pram hood canopy, creating a comfortable outdoor seating and dining area. Built in curved seating surrounds a semi-circular table, ideal for entertaining or relaxing outside.
The cruising position has been thoughtfully designed, with all controls positioned within easy reach of the tiller.
