Drift Away is a well presented boat that has been used for continuous cruising by the current owner. The 9ft width make the boat easier to cruise day to day but still offers fantastic living space inside.
Engine Room
Entering from the stern, the engine room is a very good size, providing excellent access to the Barrus Shire engine, along with additional storage in the form of cupboards and even space for a bike.
Bedroom
Moving forward from the engine room is a bright bedroom, thanks to the painted upper walls and lined ceiling. Two portholes allow plenty of natural light in whilst maintaining privacy.
The fixed double bed frame sits to starboard and has storage underneath, accessed through a side panel. At the foot of the bed is a full height wardrobe, with two shelves alongside. To port is a neatly fitted corner unit.
Bathroom
Continuing forward, a short corridor leads into the bathroom, which is offset to starboard. Another bright space, it is fitted with a corner shower with a glass screen, Jabsco macerating pump out toilet, hand basin with vanity unit below, full-height storage cupboard and Alde gas heater.
Galley
Forward of the bathroom, the galley is arranged to starboard in an L-shaped configuration. It comprises three floor units with drawers, three wall units and a dark laminate worktop, and houses a Hotpoint four burner hob, Thetford oven and composite sink.
To port is a floor unit with a top drawer and a 240V under-counter fridge. Two portholes are fitted within side hatches, providing additional ventilation and natural light when required.
Saloon
At the bow is a welcoming saloon featuring a Hamlet Hardy solid fuel stove, sofa and two built-in corner storage units. The space is flooded with natural light from the glazed front doors and two windows fitted into the front bulkhead.
Exterior
The small open front deck is perfect for a set of chairs and a table, particularly as the front doors open inwards. If covered, it could also provide useful storage space for winter fuels.
The rear deck features a traditional stern and is home to the gas lockers and railing.
Exterior paint is in good condition.
