Built in 2004 by Jonathan Wilson and Lee Narrowboats, Dulce Domum has been lovingly used for leisure cruising by her owners and remains in beautiful, near original condition. Whether you’re seeking a leisure boat or a comfortable residential craft, Dulce Domum is a must see.

Bedroom,
Accessed from the stern, the bedroom is a well-designed and practical space that makes efficient use of the layout while offering good storage for two. At the stern, there is a cross-over double bed with storage beneath. Moving forward, two full height wardrobes provide excellent storage, one fitted with shelving and the other with hanging rails. A slimline double cupboard is neatly tucked away, adding further storage without compromising space.

Bathroom,
Located forward of the bedroom, the bathroom features a walkthrough, cross-over design that maximises functionality. A roof hatch floods the space with natural light and provides essential ventilation, helping to keep both the room and the boat free from damp. To starboard is a quadrant shower with a glass screen and towel rail, while opposite sits the macerating toilet and a vanity unit with an inlaid hand basin.

Dinette,
Continuing forward, the Pullman style dinette offers a comfortable space for dining, working or hobbies. It also converts into a double bed using the table and cushions. To starboard, side doors and a roof hatch provide an additional access point, excellent ventilation and a pleasant way to enjoy the surrounding views while using the space.

Galley,
The galley is a bright and airy area, enhanced by large windows and a roof hatch that allow plenty of natural light. The U-shaped layout to port includes a combination of double and single floor units topped with a laminate work surface edged in solid ash. It features a two burner hob and twin circular sinks. Beneath the counter is a 12V LEC fridge. At the opposite end, there is a double oven, a 240V microwave  and an additional storage cupboard above. Adjacent to the fridge, on the reverse side, is a cupboard that previously housed a washing machine, this space retains all the necessary fittings should a new machine be installed. On the starboard side, a slimmer double cupboard with an ash ply top provides extra storage.

Saloon,
The open and airy feel continues into the saloon, which offers a flexible living space. Storage is provided by open under-gunwale shelving and two built in cupboards with shelving above on the bow bulkhead. Currently, the area is unfurnished, but there is ample room to install a sofa along the port side. Two glazed doors lead out onto the front deck.

Exterior,
Externally, the boat’s original paintwork remains in good condition. At the bow, lockers on either side double as seating for a folding table that descends from the cratch board, with the gas locker positioned at the bow’s peak. At the stern, two perching seats provide a convenient spot to sit and relax while cruising. Dulce Domum comes with a wide range of engineering spares and boating equipment.
