Dutch Courage is a beautifully presented narrow-beam Dutch barge that really stands out from the crowd. She has been used as a leisure boat by the current owner but will make a fine continuous cruiser.
Bedroom: Entrance from the stern, located on the port side are two single bunks that are full length. These are the only fixed beds onboard, there is a futon in the saloon that makes into a double bed.
Bathroom: Moving forward and on the port side, a light and airy space thanks to the roof hatch and white walls. Home to the midi bath with shower mixer taps, Thetford cassette toilet and vanity unit with square hand basin.
Galley: Forward of the bathroom, L-shape layout opens the remaining rooms of the boat, solid oak worktop sits atop bespoke kitchen units. Stainless stell sink and Thetford 4 hob burner are inlaid, Thetford oven/grill is below along with a small 240v fridge. Opposite is a built in double cupboard with draws topped with the same oak worktop and on the bathroom bulkhead there is a wall unit offering more storage.
Saloon: At the bow and separated from the galley by an oak trimmed decorative bulkhead. An open space that is home to the solid fuel stove, freestanding drawer unit and the freestanding futon that makes into a double bed. Another roof hatch is central to the room, a Houdini roof hatch and there is a small front door and hatch.
Exterior: The exterior paintwork is in good condition, the stern has a folding wheel house that takes around 15 minutes to take down and put back up. When down the sides neatly fold away and the canopy top can be stored away neatly.
