Nancy B is a very well-presented narrowboat, built by RLL Boats in 2007. Well equipped for both leisure cruising and residential living, she offers a practical layout with modern upgrades throughout.
Bedroom,
Entering from the stern, you step into the bedroom, which features a fixed double bed positioned to port. Storage cupboards flank the entrance steps steps on both sides, while additional overhead cupboards above the bed provide ample storage.
Bathroom,
Forward of the bedroom is the walkthrough bathroom, a practical and well-designed space. To port is a square shower cubicle alongside the vanity unit, with the macerating pump-out toilet positioned adjacent. Above the sink is a mirrored wall cabinet, while a slim storage space beside the shower providing useful additional space.
Galley,
Moving forward from the bathroom, the galley was refitted in 2021 and features a modern U-shaped design. To port are three base units incorporating a 12V Lec fridge and Haden LPG oven. Above, the Corian worktop includes an integrated drainer and inset fourburner hob. To starboard, is a double base unit with additional worktop, providing valuable storage and preparation space. A pair of side doors above flood the galley with natural light and fresh air.
Saloon,
Located at the bow, An L-shaped dinette to port provides an excellent dining and social area and also converts into a small double berth when required. Forward of this is a pair of freestanding swivel chairs with a small side table. A corner cupboard with low-level shelving is fitted against the forward bulkhead, while a solid fuel stove sits opposite. Hardwood glazed doors lead out onto the front deck.
Exterior,
The exterior was professionally repainted in 2014 and remains in good overall condition, with no significant areas of rust and only some UV fading. At the same time, the windows were upgraded to double glazed units. The bow features covered seating with lockers on three sides, while the glazed A-frame provides additional shelter and light. At the stern, a tonneau cover helps keep the weather out, and two large seat lockers provide storage for cruising equipment and other gear.
