Daniel Oakley, is a traditional style narrowboat built by Jonathan Wilson. The engine room is home to a Gardner 2L2 vintage engine that certainly draws attention. A survey was carried out in January 2023 and all of the repairs have been carried out.

Boatman cabin: Entrance from the stern, just as you would expect from a boatman cabin, traditional artwork, cosy feel, seating and a fold out bed. The stove has been removed from this space.

Engine room: Forward of the boatman cabin, home to the 1932 Gardner 2L2 engine that was fully restored in 1997 by Danny Williamson. A side hatch and doors are on the starboard side and a set of doors are on the port offering extra ventilation when running. This space is also home to the inverter, charger and batteries. 

Bedroom: Forward of the engine room, a double bed with underside and overhead storage, the bed is between two bulkheads and may be restrictive for anyone over 6ft tall.

Bathroom: Forward of the bedroom, a good sized room that is home to a midi bath with a shower mixer, opposite is the Thetford Porta Potti next to the vanity unit with inlaid sink.

Galley: Forward of the bathroom, a nice space that has plenty of worktop space and storage. A stainless steel sink is inlaid to the laminate worktops. Statesman LPG over and 4 hob burner, Shoreline 12v fridge and 240v microwave.

Saloon: At the bow of the boat, built in bench settee that seats three, a freestanding swivel chair and foot rest. Full height built in cupboard on the starboard side. A freestanding table is tucked to one side.
